Most of the industries and policymakers were searching for adequate strategies and policies for revamping production patterns and meeting consumer demand as linking pin, the nervous system of the SCM, processing and transportation was under heavy scanning.
HMA Group has analysed the situations and took initiative to understand the need of the hour in Pandemic COVID-19. HMA Group being one of the Largest exporters in Agri commodity sector, specially in its own segment decided to keep its workforce intact in its different working locations. Coordinated with all involved govt. machinery to understand the prime facie of the situation and their plan of action to deal with century’s biggest challenge which was not crippling the economies but creating fear psychosis among humans due to heavy death tolls along with serving the society in the form of several CSR activities.
HMA Group interacted with all its external suppliers to know their well-being and ensured that HMA Group will stand with everyone in such tough times. Not only external customers our backbone our human capital too, we started to interact with Internal customers Once have got clear understanding of the pandemic situation, HMA Group started to train its entire gamut of workforce for the essentialities of Pandemic COVID-19..Continuous training sessions, workshops, online interaction and guidance from industries best mentors brought confidence back to the task force. As we know pictures speak louder than words, HMA Group started putting banners, posters on every nuke and corner of the organisation viz a viz isolation centres and Help desk has been provided in every facility.
Every single person was coached for the precautions e.g. maintain the distance as per govt. regulations, Reducing the manpower and slashing the production activities accordingly, working in PPE Kits, Using sanitisers, If you feel any kind of uneasiness immediately inform your immediate supervisor and leave the working premises for proper health check-up. Once the vaccination drive has been started we got our every single taskforce vaccinated to ensure our trustworthy customers that HMA Group’s premises are COVID-19 free campuses.
We have conducted all audits online which were desired to be performed due to COVID-19 restrictions so that all compliances whether third party or Govt. compliances can be persuaded.
HMA Group prays to Almighty that such Pandemic conditions should not be seen again in human life. But if such conditions are repeated then we together should be psychologically ready to face this challenge because time is never halted and tough times will come and go.
